REP. UKODHIKO: THE TRUSTED VOICE FOR CONTINUITY IN ISOKO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
By Simon Onowode, from Otor-Owhe
A constituent of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, Mr. Simon Onowode, has called on the people of the area to renew the mandate of the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Rep. Ukodhiko, ahead of the 2027 general elections, emphasizing the need for continuity and experienced representation.
In a statement made available to the public, Onowode noted that the constituency has come a long way in its political journey and cannot afford to “start a new learning process” at a critical time when effective representation is needed at the national level.
According to him, Rep. Ukodhiko has proven to be “a trusted voice” who understands the dynamics of legislative processes in Abuja and has consistently spoken with authority on behalf of the people of Isoko North and South.
“My people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency, we know where we are coming from. This is not the time to start a new learning process. We need a voice that already knows the way to Abuja, a voice that speaks with authority on our behalf,” he stated.
He further stressed that the lawmaker has remained connected to his constituents, standing with them “through thick and thin,” and demonstrating commitment to their welfare and development.
Onowode argued that continuity in leadership would ensure stability and sustained progress, urging constituents to support Rep. Ukodhiko for another term to consolidate on existing achievements.
“Let us renew our mandate to him to continue representing us. Continuity is key to stability,” he added.
The call reflects a growing sentiment among some constituents who believe that experienced leadership remains crucial in advancing the interests of the Isoko people at the federal level.
Observers note that as the 2027 elections approach, endorsements and political alignments are gradually taking shape across constituencies, with stakeholders emphasizing performance, accessibility, and legislative experience as key determinants for voter decisions.
